Billabong Pool Service & Supply have been established and trading on the Sunshine Coast for over 45 years. We have a detailed and intimate knowledge of Sunshine Coast climatic conditions and the resultant effects on swimming pools. In addition to pool maintenance and equipment repairs, we have been assisting Sunshine Coast residents, Resorts and commercial clients to heat their pools since 1978. Because Swimming Pool Heating is only one part of our business, we don’t need to distort the facts to guarantee a sale. While the swimming pool heating landscape has certainly changed over this time, the business has built up a wealth of knowledge on pool heating methods and installations. We have installed heaters sized from 6kW on residential pools to 250kW on commercial pools. The predominant heating method is now electric heat pumps and we have certainly installed many heat pumps coastwide. Rheem, Accent Air, Astral Pool and Madimack heat pumps are all brands we sell and service.
We don’t just guess a heater size for your pool – we use software developed by the University of NSW to produce a heating analysis based on your pool size, volume and target temperature in consideration of Sunshine Coast climatic conditions. With this information, we can recommend a realistic sized heat pump that will heat the pool to achieve your target temperature in the middle of winter. Alternatively, if shoulder season heating is desired, an appropriately sized heater can be quoted to meet these requirements too. Either way, we can provide an honest and accurate solution for your swimming pool heating requirements.
